Tramontina Ceramic Cookware Review

Sharing is caring!

Tramontina is a well-known Brazilian brand that specializes in the cookware field.  Even though this article is a Tramontina ceramic cookware review, I have to say that this brand is not completely focused on the ceramic cookware field. They have an insane variety of kitchen tools, accessories, and electro domestics. If you like this set, you should see their kitchen catalog.

best ceramic cookware

They took a lot of time to design their signature ceramic cookware set. The main reason is that they didn’t have the best technology in Brazil. The Deluxe 01 Tramontina Cookware set is made in Italy and assembled in EEUU. The whole set comes with a lifetime warranty, which is an excellent plus. Also, their customer service is efficient and nice.

How is the Tramontina Ceramic Cookware built?

The body is made of heavy-gauge cold-forged aluminum that provides even heat distribution with a durable porcelain enamel exterior. The inner coating is pure white ceramic, 100% non-stick.

I know that sometimes I mention the materials and probably you don´t know what are the features that bring that specifically material to the performance of the set.

Well, in this case, heavy aluminum is one of the most trustworthy materials to make a pan’s body. The reason is that it offers enough sturdiness and resistance while remaining lightweight.

The metallic black exterior of enamel porcelain avoids the damage of scratching, especially when you cook on a gas stove.

And the ceramic coating allows you to cook without seasoning the pans with oil or butter. The ceramic is PFOA, PTFE, lead, and cadmium-free. The coating also lets you quickly release and its cooking surface is easy to clean.

Interesting features

The pans are suitable for gas, electric, and ceramic glass cooktops. But one of the disadvantages of this set is that it’s incompatible with induction cooktops.

The pans are oven and dishwasher-safe, and they resist heating up to 350° degrees F. As with the majority of ceramic pans, the heat conduction is pretty good and evenly. You can cook perfectly your daily recipes with low heat.

What includes this set?

  • 8″ Sauté Pan
  • 10″ Sauté Pan
  • 4 Qt. Covered Deep Sauté Pan with Helper Handle
  • 2 Qt. Covered Sauce Pan
  • 3 Qt. Covered Sauce Pan
  • 6 Qt. Covered Stock Pot
  • Lock & Drain Strainer

What about the Tramontina Ceramic Dutch Oven?

This is one of the most recent additions to the ceramic line of this brand. Their Dutch oven has quickly become a favorite of so many people, including me. It’s a heavy-duty and sturdy Dutch oven made of aluminum with a 100% ceramic interior.

The handles are stainless steel with a soft grip for comfortable yet safe handling. The lids are made of heat-resistant glass. You can safely use this Dutch oven with its lid in the oven up to 350°F/ 176°C.

It’s compatible with all types of cooktops including induction.

What kind of kitchener fits with this set?

This is perfect for those cook lovers who want the standard pans for daily basic meals but still are looking for a high-quality non-stick set. The Tramontina ceramic cookware is an all-in-one product. It has the basic pieces and sizes and it looks contemporary.

If you´re a more experienced chef or you want a bigger amount of pieces, you should consider the GreenPan Rio ceramic cookware set.

As I always say, the choice is yours and there is a cookware set for every kind of Kitchener.

See you soon!
