Spicy Shrimp Tacos

These spicy shrimp tacos are a great recipe for an authentic Mexican dinner.

Ingredients

  • 3 wheat tortilla or taco shells
  • 250 gr peeled and deveined shrimps
  • 1 avocado
  • Jalapeños
  • Mexican salsa
  • Greens mix lettuce, cabbage, arugula

Shrimp marinate

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp cayenne pepper
  • ½ tsp salt

Green sauce

  • 1 cup fresh coriander
  • ½ cup fresh parsley
  • cup olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 2 tbsp vinegar
  • ½ small green bell pepper
  • ½ small onion
  • 1 tsp salt

Instructions

  • Mix all the ingredients for the marinade and let the shrimp marinate into the mix for at least 10 minutes.
  • Heat a big pan over medium heat. Cook the shrimps for 2 minutes each side. Until they are pink.
  • In a food processor mix all the ingredients for the green sauce and process until you get a sauce-like consistency.
  • Assemble the tacos. Fill in the wheat tortillas with the shrimps, the green sauce, some greens, avocado, Mexican salsa and jalapeños for extra spicy factor. Enjoy!
