Servings: 12 cookies
- 2 cups flour
- ½ tsp baking powder
- ¼ cup dried cranberries
- 1 orange zest
- ½ cup softened butter
- ⅓ cup brown sugar
- 2 tbsp white sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
- Pinch salt
- Condensed milk optional
In a bowl stir the flour, the baking powder, and the salt.
In another bowl mix--- with a mixer --- the butter, the white and the brown sugar, the vanilla and the orange zest. When you get a homogeneous paste, add the egg and mix well.
Add the flour mix slowly and incorporate until you get the cookie dough. Toss the dry cranberries and integrate well. Let the dough chill in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
While the dough is chilling in the fridge, preheat the oven to 180ºC (350ºF).
Bake the cookies for 8-10 minutes until the edges are light brown. Let the cookies sit on the baking tray for 5 minutes, then transfer them to a baking rack and let them chill completely.
If you want glace with condensed milk.
