I’m super excited about the upcoming holiday. This is my favorite time of the year and I like to get ready with all the decorations, the holiday movies, the Christmas shopping and of course the Christmas cookies recipes.
Cranberries are the ultimate Christmas fruit. Here in Portugal finding fresh cranberries can be kind of tricky. That’s why I always stock my pantry with dry cranberries that work perfectly with these orange and cranberry cookies.

Also, the baking time is essential. Bake for 8-10 minutes in 180ºC (350ºF), until the edges start to brown. Don’t worry if the cookies look a little bit undercooked. They will cook completely with the residual heat of the baking tray. If you bake for a longer time you will get hard cookies. This method gives you perfect chewy cookies every time.
I hope you like this recipe and … Happy Holidays!
