The Alfredo sauce is the simplest way to improve a dull plate of pasta. The variations are infinite. You can try a chicken version with cherry tomatoes for a lighter twist.
This time I will make an Alfredo pasta with shrimps and corn. The combination of salty shrimps and sweet corns in a creamy and buttery sauce is just HEAVENLY.
Also you don’t have to spend hours in the kitchen to get the dinner ready. 30 minutes is all you will need to achieve this recipe.

Alfredo pasta with Shrimps and Corn
Ingredients
- 200 gr shrimps cleaned and devained
- 300 gr spaghetti
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup sweet corn
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 tbsp butter
- Pinch salt
- Pinch white pepper
- parsley
Instructions
- Cook the spaghetti according to their package. Leave the pasta a little bit under cooked.
- In a big pan over medium heat cook the shrimps with the butter and the garlic.
- Add the milk, the heavy cream and the corn and stir. Season with a pinch of salt and black pepper. Let is boil for 5 - 8 minutes.
- Add the pasta and the parmesan cheese and let it simmer for 10 minutes, until the cream is tick.
