This is an easy hack that will save you a lot of time and that will fulfill your pizza cravings — I have pizza craving at least once a week. These super easy pita pizzas are incredibly yummy and versatile, and they’re perfect to keep you from ordering a large Pizza delivery at 2am in the morning (I’ve never done that, I swear).
Also, the name is really funny — or maybe not — for someone who doesn’t speak English as their first language. I could spend an hour laughing at “easy peasy pita pizza”. It is like a tongue twister!
My favorite thing about this “recipe” is that you can add whatever you want that day. It is the easiest and most versatile dinner out there. You can prepare your topping from scratch or just use store sauces. The thing is that you can save time and still get a delicious meal.
Pita bread is often used for greek food or for dipping with some baba ganoush. But in my house now I got it for pizza nights. You can choose an integral version or just the regular ones. They are about 150 calories per pita bread (I use small ones) so it is not a crazy amount of calories per individual pizza.
An important step is that you have to sprinkle a little bit of water over the pita bread to bring back some moist.

Easy Peasy Pita Pizza Toppings
This time I made three simple topping that I absolutely love:
Pesto and tomato
The first one is a classic pesto and tomatoes pizza. I bought cherry tomatoes and mini mozzarella balls to get a super cheesy experience. I highly recommend fresh mozzarella cheese. Just look at that melted cheese — so much stringy cheese power.
Mushrooms
The second is a classic mushrooms pizza. I added fresh mozzarella cheese too and an organic pizza sauce. Easy and quickly.
Olives and Pepper
The last one is special for my boyfriend — he is an olive’s lover. This one has black olives, red pepper, onion and shredded mozzarella. I decided to use shredded mozzarella because this mini pizza has more ingredients than the other two, and I didn’t want the cheese to “overflow” the pizza.
I even made a cute gif of this pizza:
But remember that at the end you can get creative with your topping and get as many combinations as you desire.
I hope you like this recipe and I see you in the next one!
