London Fog Drink (Earl Grey Latte)

Sharing is caring!

Today I bring you the perfect copycat for the Starbucks’ London fog latte. It only takes 3 ingredients and no time.

I’m a long time coffee lover, but tea has been my latest discovery and I’m obsessed with this warm beverage. In Venezuela, we aren’t used to drinking tea. For me, it has been a totally amazing world.

Currently, I’m hooked with all types of tea: white tea, green tea, black tea, oolong tea, matcha and every tea I can get my hands on.

Earl Grey tea right now is my go-to breakfast tea. It has a sweet aftertaste and the fragrance is so heartwarming. I just love it with all my grumpy-morning soul.

For those that don’t know what type of tea Earl Grey is, it is a black tea mix aromatized with bergamot. It has a sweet and citric taste that makes it go particularly well with milk and creamers.

As you may know, Starbucks has made very popular the delicate and lovely London fog latte. This hot drink is basically earl grey tea with a splash of milk with vanilla syrup.

Simple flavors: great result.

The citric notes in the bergamot and the sweet aftertaste of vanilla work like a charm in this simple hot drink.

If you are a Starbucks London fog latte, you will thank me for this recipe because I just saved you a few bucks per week.

My little trick under my sleeve for a luscious milky foam is my beloved milk frother. I can not begin to express how much I’ve been using my 10 dollars’ milk frother. Best purchase ever. It gives you a professional coffee shop result in the comfort of your house and PJs.

I hope you enjoy this recipe for the upcoming fall days!
