This salmon oven-baked honey garlic salmon is one of the easiest and healthier recipes that I love to make on busy weeknight dinners. Only 25 minutes from start to finish.
Freshness and sweetness in one dish!
I love to eat fish at least one time during the week, especially during summertime. Fish contains tons of healthy fatty acids and it’s a lean source of protein, so I’m all in! One of my most popular recipes is my baked white fish with vegetables.
But most of the time, salmon is my favorite fish choice for a simple reason: it has enough flavor by itself.
You can cook a salmon fillet with just a pinch of salt and pepper and it would taste good.
Besides, it matches with a wide variety of veggies. Spinach, asparragus, peppers, onion, mushrooms, etc.
This time I made a sweet glaze with honey and the spicy and strong flavor of a few garlic cloves. The glaze is so simple and works really well without taking away the natural flavor of the salmon.
The glaze only have three ingredients: garlic, honey and lemon juice for a touch of freshness.
I love this dish so much, especially because it’s as easy and non-fuss as it can be. 6 ingredients —without counting the herbs and spices— and 25 minutes, plus the oven makes all the hard work.
Mushrooms are optional but I highly recommend you add a few. These white mushrooms are the perfect sponge for this glaze. Every bite is a mini-explosion of sweetness and flavor.
