  1. I used All-clad’s cookware for a while. They’re really good. Anyone should have one of All-clad in their kitchen

  2. My neighbor, whose something approaching a 4 star chef (well, he grows his own yeast to fashion his own bread! And Robert Parker loves his cooking so… 3 star anyway) recommends All-clad but he told us to go out and “feel” the cookware. Ok, whatever that means but, indeed… the handles, the grips, the weight do suddenly come in to play! Then there’s the kind of cooktop you have (ours is the flat, glass, electric top) which are affected by different metals. How easily does the pan clean, what’s the warranty, how long do non-stick surfaces last, anyway? 5 – 6yrs seem to answer the latter which then begged the question, if’ we’re throwing these out every 5 – 6 yrs, why drop $1,200 when $300 will do? And so, all things considered we went w/ a set of GreenPan. But we’ll probably still supplement this set with a few items from All-Clad and others.

  4. I used Le Cruise and total disappointment.
Then tried Calphalon and fell in love with. Bought the whole set at Costco at that time.

  5. I have a pretty complete set of All Clad – stainless. Love them. After 3-sets of non-stick paraphernalia, I decided to switch to something real and I do believe I made the correct choice this time. I’ve learned the proper way to use them and how to avoid burning and sticking to aid in cleanup to the point that I don’t even own a brillo pad. Yes – I paid a bit for my first two pans but then got onto the AC mailing list and bought the rest of my pots and pans on their scratch and dent sales which are actually not that. Every one of these that I bought sure looks first class to me and I saved a bundle.
